Cuando me fui a vivir sola, hace m\u00e1s de 10 a\u00f1os, empec\u00e9 a cuestionarme c\u00f3mo hab\u00edan hecho mis pap\u00e1s para criar a 4 hijos, si yo viviendo sola a veces con costos lograba hacer todo para m\u00ed misma. Con el tiempo me fui acomodando, estableciendo rutinas y descubriendo mi manera de hacer las cosas, que por supuesto estaba muy permeada por la crianza y formaci\u00f3n que ambos me dieron. Definitivamente despu\u00e9s de los 30 comenc\u00e9 a entender mucho m\u00e1s a mis pap\u00e1s, a verlos con otros ojos, a admirar mucho de lo que han hecho en sus vidas, a recordar que al fin y al cabo, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de ser mis pap\u00e1s, son seres humanos aprendiendo cada d\u00eda, al igual que todos. Y aunque esto pueda sonar infantil, empec\u00e9 a desear m\u00e1s que nunca que sean eternos. Quiz\u00e1s por eso cada vez disfruto m\u00e1s compartir con ellos, sacar el tiempo para hablar, pasear, llamarlos, mensajear, escucharlos, tomar caf\u00e9, acostarnos juntos, quedarme a dormir y tantas otras cosas, porque creo que en el fondo es la manera de que cada momento se haga eterno en mi coraz\u00f3n y hacer todo lo que pueda con ellos ya que tengo el privilegio y la bendici\u00f3n de tenerlos a ambos. Mi pap\u00e1 cumpli\u00f3 70 a\u00f1os, y no puedo evitar pensar que es un mont\u00f3n, pero tambi\u00e9n que yo solo he podido estar 36 de esos a\u00f1os con \u00e9l, as\u00ed que quiero que sean muchos m\u00e1s. De pa he aprendido mucho, no solo por sus consejos, por todas las veces que me ha exhortado, corregido, escuchado y consolado en momentos dif\u00edciles. He aprendido de su vocaci\u00f3n para servir a otros como trabajador humanitario. He aprendido de su liderazgo, de sus dichos, de su formaci\u00f3n como fil\u00f3sofo, de su amor por Dios, de su fe y por supuesto estoy segura que hered\u00e9 su sentido del humor. Creo que esto lo escribo porque estamos a punto de hacerle una celebraci\u00f3n sorpresa por su cumplea\u00f1os y quiero que quede en alg\u00fan lugar escrito lo importante que \u00e9l ha sido y es para m\u00ed, y espero tenerlo aqu\u00ed por much\u00edsimos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s.
